I was surprised how light and sturdy this chair is. It is easy enough to bring to a concert or picnic in a backpack with your blanket and food. We also purchased the Helinox table, which was equally light weight and sturdy. This is always with us in the trunk of the car as we travel we can stop and enjoy the view.Much better than the collapsible chairs we used to purchase for $5 at the discount outlets, which eventually broke and were too large to comfortably carry around.The price is up there, but so is the comfort level and the ability to carry it around in a little pack or canvas purse. You will use this more than you think.
