THE ARMLESS, ARMREST CHAIR: Ask anyone whether they prefer a task chair with or without an armrest, and most people will say – both! So we designed The Ergo Flip – the mesh office chair with flip-up arms! And It makes perfect sense, right? Because, some days we need a comfy cushioned armrest, while other days we just need to get up close and personal to our desk!
WITH EXTRA ROLLER CASTORS: While our office chair caster wheels are smooth as silk, we also give you an extra set of rollerblade caster wheels (Your package comes with one set of regular caster wheels and one set of rollerblade caster wheels). And as you change wheels and roll around you won’t need to worry about the base cracking like cheaper chairs, because this upgraded, heavy duty 5-Point aluminum base is thick and strong. So, roll around as much as you like!
SOFT, BREATHABLE MESH: No one likes sweating in their chair, but The Ergo Flip is made with breathable ElastoMesh Fabric for optimal airflow and comfort – no wirey mesh marks! And here’s what else is comfortable - The Ergo Flip features a full length backrest, contoured neck / headrest, and ergonomically curved lumbar so you can sit for longer without any discomfort.
CHOOSE YOUR COLOR: The Ergo Flip comes in Burgundy, Black, Blue and Gray, so go ahead and match the right rolling chair to your décor. This strong office desk chair holds up to 275lbs and the seat is 19” wide. It features tilt lock, tilt angle lock and a smooth class 4 adjustable hydraulic lift, taking the seat from 19.1” to 22.04” high. Only minimal, easy assembly required.
YOUR WORKDAY JUST GOT A WHOLE LOT EASIER: So if you’re ready for the most ergonomic office chair, one that is comfy on your body, AND naturally the most comfortable for arm placement (not to mention those luxury rollerblade wheels), then you’re ready for The Ergo Flip by Nouhaus.
Decent office chair with good ergonomic support. Certainly not the most comfortable chair I’ve sat in, but in general good value for the price. Two call outs… one of the arm rest pads keeps sliding off. No biggie - I think I just need to put some crazy glue around the bolt holding it in. Also, we bought the gray one, and it’s a mesh of gray and black, and ended up looking darker than we thought it would.I reccomend the chair after having used it for a week I bought a memory foam foot-rest to go with it and have enjoyed it!It's a bit rough to get used to a chair thats made for supporting your back but I can definately feel the difference in my posture with the chair.I would say its a bit uncomfortable when you first start using it but it's worth the price and the back support is 5 stars!Steep price takes off a star since it's a bit rough getting used to it for someone who hasn't owned one of these types of chairs before I'd suggest something a bit cheaper. However I also am saying this as a newcomer to a nice back-supporting chair, it's pretty nice!I bought this chair to replace a mesh chair I have in my office now. From the description, this chair appeared to be the best value. And then it showed up. The chair was well packaged, came with quality hardware along with a nice Allen wrench, and was easy to assemble.Once assembled the chair seemed comfortable, the arms were at a good height and well padded. As mentioned in other reviews, the seat cushion is fairly high off the ground with the rollerblade casters installed. I am 5' 7" and my feet did not touch the ground with the chair in its lowest position. The issue that made me return this product was the reclining function. More accurately, the problem is the chair's lack of a reclining function. The product description states that the chair adjusts from 90 to 135 degrees. This is not accurate. The chair back only tilts back by 12 degrees, the remaining adjustment requires the tension screw to be completely loose to allow the seat bottom to further tilt the chair back. To get to the claimed 135 degree tilt, the tension screw needs to be so loose that the chair is difficult to sit straight up in.On paper this looks to be one of the best chairs out there, unfortunately the delivered product did not live up to expectations.ASSEMBLYA bit of a challenge for one person to hold the pieces together, but no worse than comparable chairs. The instructions were clear, and the labels really helped. The best part was the included Allen wrench. It's not the usual tiny one you get with most furniture, and I'll be keeping for future items like this. My one request is better labeling of the screws. The difference between 8 x 0.79mm and 8 x 0.98mm isn't something most of us can eyeball. You can easily figure out which is which by counting them, but it'd be even easier if they were labeled on the package.FLIP-UP ARMSI'm a guitar player, so this (or similar) feature was mandatory. Most chairs I've tried with flip up arms were low-quality. This one is far better, and not that much more expensive. The quality difference from a $139 chair to this $239 chair is definitely worth it. Still not perfect, but I'd definitely recommend it to other guitar players. SMELLOut of the package, it had a chemical smell. That's pretty typical, but if you're sensitive to such things plan accordingly and give it time to air out. HEIGHTThe minimum height of the chair (in its lowest position) is a smidge too high for me. That's easily solvable with a foot rest, but a 5 star product wouldn't need that. Conversely, the height of the back is a smidge lower than what I need. Even with the headrest in its highest position, it cuts into my shoulders a bit, and I can't fully relax into it without slouching forward. Again, it's a great chair, but not quite 5 stars.Interstingly, they nailed the arm height for my taste. I've rarely found a chair with arms high enough, and far enough back for my comfort. I want my elbows to be supported; not my forearms. This one is just about perfect. Since a lot of the height is from the cushion, it'll be interesting to see how well that cushion holds up over time. NOISEAlmost none. No squeaks or creaks so far; just the sound of the parts moving together. WHEELSThe description is a bit misleading, but I'm actually glad. The description makes it sound like you get two sets of blade wheels. First, that's an immediate red flag, right? Why give you two sets unless they expect them to break? Second, I wasn't sure if I wanted blade wheels because they might deform the mat. It's basic physics - you're spreading the same weight over five points of contact or ten. Thankfully, the box actually comes with one set of blades and one set of traditional two-wheel casters. That way, I don't have to worry. The blades are far better quality than the traditional casters, but still a bit clunkier than I'd expected. MESH/NETTINGNot as soft as advertised. It's soft in the sense that the seat is cushiony. However, the fabric itself is very rough to the touch. I wouldn't want to have to sit in this while wearing shorts. VERDICTI've only had it assembled for two days now, but so far I'm very happy with it. It's solid and comfortable, and has no noticeable manufacturing defects. A taller... or better yet, adjustable... back height would make it even better. Same for a head rest that can go a little higher, and mesh that isn't so rough. The quality, practicality (yes, the arms fold in so my daughter and push the chair under her dorm room's desk and craftsmanship of this chair are outstanding and very welcomed. I was susceptible to low prices. I was expecting to pay over 350 for a quality chair that would last throughout college. This chair fits my daughter's need to a "T". I am very happy and pleased. NOUHAUS - you are a GO at this station.I really like this chair. I wish it was 2” shorter and the seat was a bit wider. I just got it today and I think it is a keeper. The arms are very comfortable and soft.I am 5’7”.I got this chair because I have long legs and read reviews that the seat can be adjusted to be quite tall. The chair didn’t disappoint in this area. I have a 34” inseam and could adjust the chair high enough that my feet don’t fully touch the ground. That said, I do wish the seat was a bit deeper. I feel like a bit too much of my upper thigh hangs over the front. It’s not terrible or a deal-breaker, but in a perfect world the seat would be a couple inches deeper. I can understand why some people are complaining about the width of the seat. I’m 5’10”, 155 lbs and the width is perfect for me, but I can imagine that many looking for a tall chair are wider than I am. The height of the head rest is also perfect for me at the tallest setting, but I think it could be a bit too short for a man of similar height since they tend to be less leggy and taller-bodied than myself. The lower back support is phenomenal and I find the stretchy fabric to be extremely comfortable as compared to a padded chair. I’m pleased that the mesh fabric allows plenty of airflow. Overall, I would purchase this chair again and I’m satisfied with my purchase.Well, I had high hopes! It took me 2 months of shopping to finally pull the trigger! Big regret!Pros:Well built, material seems sturdy and well ventilatedEasy to assembleWheels roll fairly easilyRed is like a light burgundy, very subtle and looks great!Cons:Seat is too high even at the lowest setting, my feet barely touch the ground and I measure 6’ with 33’’ inseamLumbar support is almost non existantHeadrest is useless as it digs into my shoulders (Should be minimum 2-4 inches higher)Backrest is too short, does not support your torsoSeat is the worst that I have ever sat in. I have 34 hip size, the seat edge plastic digs into my thighs to a point that 30minutes of sitting is all I can tolerate! Horrible and painfulIn summary, this is by far the most uncomfortable seat I have ever sat in. I prefer sitting on a wood stool believe it or not! After trying all kinds of settings, I give up! Unfortunately I threw the box out before trying or this thing would be going back to Amazon! I am totally bummed out as I had high hopes! I believe this seat was designed for people smaller than 130LBS, shorter than 5.11, probably 5.3 to 5.8. But the person needs super long legs or they will not touch the floor. The backrest was designed for people with no idea what comfort should feel like! I can not stress enough how the seat is horrible and actually hurts after a few minutes! So, save yourself some grief and shop for something else! Not worth one dime! I will be giving it away this weekend! It looks great, well built but very very uncomfortable!PS: I do not like writing bad reviews, but I had to take the time to warn potential buyers! Not fit for adults. I am fairly skinny (33 waist), seat not wide enough for me. Backrest does not go high enough, 6'1". Only issue is it was too high off ground for someone about 5'6", at least with the rollerblade wheels installed, their feet could not touch on lowest setting. With the rollerblade wheels, chair cannot glide well in changing directions, only in a constant direction. Hard to change wheel orientation, lots of friction. I imagine the regular wheels work as well as any other chair. It started hurting my pelvis after 3 hours of sitting. Immediately stopped using it and returned it! It's the opposite of ergonomic, as it damages your body! Horrible design!Had a few Nouhaus chairs, this one just doesn't work. The Item seems to have been a return. a few scratches on the arm and back. Too bad the box got recycled before the chair was build. Damn recycle days. The chair bottom isn't as nice as the other cheaper model, and only advise with long wears. The Back support, same thing not as nice a lower model, doesn't quite support the lower back. The screw cover doesn't fit correct, yup into the bin they goes. The Arms and wheels are the only things good with this model.I just received and assembled my chair. The main purpose in buying this chair was because I recently had a back injury and have taken an enhanced ergonomic approach to my office space/seating. Assembly was easy, the instructions were clear and you're given extra parts. However, as the picture show, there has clearly been some usage of the chair. For the price that I am paying, I do not want a refurbished or previously used product. I am going to test out the comfortability over the next week before deciding what to do with the chair.
