Easy to put together, nice & comfortable and I love the ability to raise/lower the top of the "egg shell". Highly recommended!!!Perfect addition to my patio. It looks nice, is very comfy, and repels rain and dries well.I was drawn to getting this chair - which I love - for a few reasons:• to add a bit of a statement / conversation piece to our small patio• so I can work on my laptop outside with minimal glare/sun exposurePutting it together was fairly straight forward and easy to do. Since there are quite a few bolts to tighten, I can definitely recommend using an electric screwdriver if available to help speed up the process. Once put together, the chair is lovely and comfortable! The umbrella shade uses a small actuator/pump and can easily be moved up or down. Mission accomplished on both of my initial goals.The only room for improvement I would make suggestions on, is to substitute the umbrella attachment via. tightened bolts with something else that would allow it to be easily attached and reattached without hardware/tools. The chair actually looks great on its own without the umbrella shade installed, so I do wish there was a way to easily remove it when I don’t need it and or for storing indoors; the other reason for this, is that when the umbrella shade is down, every spider and earwig will take every opportunity to move in and hide in the creases…. this means before I sit down, I need to open up the umbrella shade, inspect and brush out any insects from the creases before pushing it back down and sitting in this chair without fear of something crawling onto my shoulder.Does not apply to my household too much, but worth mentioning that someone over 6ft tall may not get a whole lot from this chair when the umbrella is up due to the point for which it starts to curve overhead when sitting fully back into the seat. My spouse is 6’2 and prefers the umbrella down when using this chair because when up the back of his head grazes the inside of it too easily.There is a lot to love about this chair! Some pros and cons:Pros:1. It is a unique and cool design that looks great on your patio or poolside2. Made of aluminum so it's not too heavy but still sturdy enough to hold up3. Cushions are comfy and a cheery, bright, "perfect for summer" color4. The canopy has good coverage and it locks. Or you can close it and just use the chair portion5. Instructions are comprehensive and easy to follow6. Assembly is relatively easy - 20 minutes or so to put it together.7. It comes wrapped very well to prevent any damageCons:1. Only one - assembly was NOT difficult, but it is a little tricky to tell how to face the legs out so you get the best balance. I had to re-read the directions a few times to really "get" it, just because the differences in the legs are so subtle. This step is really important as the support bars won't fit if you do it wrong. I feel that if they labeled those better, it would be easier. But, there's really only two ways to do it, so if you do it wrong, it's not a hassle to correct that, so that's why I didn't take a star off for it.Overall, this chair is a great addition to any patio/outdoor area. Two thumbs up!I spent a lot of time looking for some nice outdoor chairs I really would like so I could enjoy sitting in my back yard and these are great! I purchased two chairs and it took both myself and my husband to put the chairs together, but once we did the first one the second one took ten minutes tops! The option of having the canopy is wonderful and so far I am very happy with my purchase.Unfortunately the leg bars do not line up, and it has made it impossible for us to finish building the chair. I was really excited for it for my porch, and I love the navy blue color of the fabric.
