Do not buy this product. Ordered a total of 4 chairs in two orders. Major issues with wood quality and design. It took 90 minutes to assemble the 1st one because of mis aligned holes or improperly cut wooden pieces. Had to use a circular saw to shave about 1/8” to 1/4” off the ends of the two curved leg pieces to resolve the poor fit. Height of the seat at front is less than 14” which is perfect for those of us under about 5’8”. I am 6’2” and with elderly knees so exiting the chair can be challenging. That said, the appearance of the chair is very nice. The 2nd chair did not require shaving the wood to align holes, but it had a split wood/broken leg making it unusable. After the first use of another chair, one of the horizontal backrest supports cracked in half at an obviously weaken, high stress point. At the moment only 2 of 4 chAirs are usable. The vendor is working with me to get replacement parts from Vietnam in the next two months…so will have to wait and see how that plays out. The design and construction and materials make it very likely that the other two chairs are now suspect as well. A tung oil finish is definitely required as the acacia wood is raw.
